BREAKING NEWS: At Pt England School, students are disappearing! They’re not just late; they’re gone. Meet Grumble. He’s a mystery. He’s a menace. And his weapon is a terrible counting habit. He walks up, says “six… seven…” and that’s it! Poof, the student is gone. The teachers are in total panic. The security footage is wild. Everyone’s looking for him, but what does a pink fluffy creature who can make people disappear actually want? The answer will surprise you. This is Grumble!

Term 1 Adventures in Room 7

What a great start to the year we’ve had in Room 7! So far this term, we’ve been getting active and having a blast with Kelly Sports, learning how to play softball. We’ve been practising our catching, throwing, batting, and working together as a team. It’s been awesome seeing everyone give it a go and improve each week!

Last week, we also had our school picnic at Pt England Reserve. The weather was perfect, and we spent the day playing games, relaxing with our friends, and enjoying the outdoors. It was a great way to connect and have fun as a school.

Because we’ve got one that’ll have you on the edge of your seat! Our class mascot, Poppy the Pūkeko, has vanished without a trace. Think feathers, candy wrappers, and even a suspicious footprint! Room 7’s best detectives searched high and low…but the truth behind this mystery might just surprise you. Get ready for the adventure of The Case of the Missing Pūkeko!

Manaiakalani Film Festival – The Missing Teacher

Have you ever wondered what would happen if your teacher went missing?

This year room 10 had a challenge set for them by their teacher! They were asked to create a script idea for our Manaiakalani film festival. We brainstormed our ideas and finally came up with the idea of the missing teacher. We had so much fun filming this movie and learnt a valuable lesson to never take our teachers for granted.
